Near or far, honest people help, and supportive people have no limits. Cuba, which imperialism attacks with all its ferocity for being different, for siding with the peoples who fight for their freedom, for sending their doctors, their teachers, their professionals, their medicines to whoever requests them, Cuba, 1st world power of solidarity, and the peoples, are within reach of a call, now is the time to show that those who received without any charge, want the best for those people who share what they have, not what is left over.
The best way to say is to do, was the example given and written by Martí. The working class is marching, intellectuals are marching, writers are marching, filmmakers, essayists, painters, sculptors, artists are marching, and all those who represent with their work, the force that builds the future is marching, Cuba is the fortune of the Human history, now is the time to demonstrate the feeling of closeness, of brotherhood with those who share everything and have had a misfortune.
We are not talking about the blockade, because imperialism in its terrifying cruelty continues trying to kill the Cuban people, we are not talking about that minority that has stolen the world’s goods to have slaves to lead against those who do not submit and kneel. We speak to the people, to the working people who are lovers of justice, social welfare, and peace, we speak of those who feel scared by the explosion and the fire that occurred in Matanzas – Cuba, which has taken the lives of several people, perhaps 16, and has caused hundreds of injuries. The first example of humanity, of internationalist solidarity, has been given by Mexico and Venezuela by sending personnel specialized in fires and material with which to fight the flames. Behind have risen most of the governments of the world, you know who has been silent because hate shuts his mouth. How can you burn inside rather than get up from your chair and do the honor of recognition that is due?
Will they pay for so much arrogance, so much insult, so much hatred for not being able to subdue the one who stands up to difficulties, but with complete dignity?
Cuba, the 1st world power of solidarity, and the peoples are within reach of a call: now is the moment of all urgency, to act as quickly as possible. If the towns called, Cuba comes; if Cuba calls, the peoples correspond, it is the unity of brothers. Only those who do not respect the people do not stand up to show humanity.
August 5, lightning, explosion, fire, deaths, injuries, power outage. The blockade is the worst scoundrel, it is the most horrible sabotage, the most frightening, the greatest genocide that can be done to a working people, the people that do not leave anyone without their bread: the blockade has no forgiveness, that is why all the governments of the world, even the most lukewarm, condemn it at the UN year after year, … and the murderer does not raise him, does not rise.

COLLECTION OF HELP TO REDUCE THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE TERRIBLE FIRE THAT RAVAGED THE CUBAN CITY OF MATANZAS
Cuba is facing the consequences of a huge fire in the industrial zone of Matanzas, caused by a lightning strike in one of its fuel tanks.
There are dozens of missing people, who worked in the facilities and injured people. The fire of 2 affected tanks is still alive at dawn on August 8. An acid and ash rain is taking place over the city of Matanzas.
From our beloved island, we have received a list of medications, supplies, and equipment that are essential to care for those affected by the Matanzas accident. From the MESC, a state movement of Solidarity with Cuba, a call has been made to all associations for an urgent collection of funds that will serve to meet these needs.
In Andalusia, we have agreed to deposit funds in the account of the Hispanic-Cuban Friendship Association, which is the following: ES6614910001253000084949. You can also donate through BIZUM to the number 699957768. The concept is Matanzas. The collection of donations from organizations or individuals will last until August 31, to later deposit the money in the account authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Cuba.
